How Drugs Affects The Body And The Side Effects Of The Drugs

Intro: In my issues analysis I will be talking about the issue of athletes using drugs in sport to enhance their performance. In my first paragraph I will be talking about the different types of drugs used in sport, how drugs effect the body and the side effects of the drugs. In my second paragraph I will be talking about how the performance enhancing drugs effect the performance of an athlete and why they do/ use the. In my 3rd paragraph I will be talking about the negative and positive effects of drugs in sport, the main drugs I will be focusing on for this issues analysis will be- Erythropoietin- Blood doping and Anabolic steroid’s Paragraph 1: Some of the variants of drugs that are most commonly utilized in sports is Erythropoietin, blood doping, anabolic steroids and human growth hormones. Erythropoietin is a drug that can be used to increase an athlete’s performance. Some of the side effects of using Erythropoietin are major and can be fatal, the side effects of using Erythropoietin are increased viscosity of the blood meaning the blood thickens, fever, seizures, nausea, headache, anxiety and legarthy..
